A Red Hot Lava ‘Fire Hose’ Pours Into the Pacific Ocean Off the Kilauea Volcano in Hawaii

The USGS captured stunning video of a red-hot lava “fire hose” pouring into the Pacific ocean off the Kilauea volcano in Hawaii. The tube became exposed when a lava delta collapsed around New Year’s Eve. While the lava flows the area around the volcano is considered hazardous, but that hasn’t stopped people from trying to see it for themselves.
