A Gritty Live-Action Version of Pac-Man Inspired by the 1979 Cult NYC Gang Film ‘The Warriors’

PAC-MAN: Come Out to Play” is a gritty live-action version, created by the Fury Fingers movie studio, of the classic Pac-Man arcade game that is heavily inspired by the 1979 cult NYC gang film The Warriors.

With Fight choreography and parkour as our focus we set out to make a fun n’ badass film. Anthony Rinna lead the piece as both Pac-man and the fight choreographer. He took cues from Jackie Chan for the combat – Andrew Shanks director says: “…giving the flick a fun ‘Rumble in the Bronx’ Vibe.” We reached out to the ‘Sweezy‘ team to feature as the parkour gang. And Ben Palk of ‘Big Daddy’s Discotheque‘ created a rocking late 70’s – 80’s inspired track.
