A Deliciously Terrifying Glass Slide That Hangs 1,000 Feet Above Downtown Los Angeles

The brand new OUE Skyspace is a beautiful indoor/outdoor observation deck perched upon the U.S. Bank Tower, the tallest building in downtown Los Angeles. Offering stunning views that reach as far as the eye can see and 6,000 square feet of flexible space, the most prominent feature, however, is the deliciously terrifying Skyslide, an enclosed glass slide that hangs 1,000 feet in the air and takes riders from the 70th floor to the 69th floor in the most expedient manner.

OUE Skyspace LA boasts a thrill experience unlike any other: Skyslide, an outdoor glass slide, positioned nearly 1,000 feet above downtown Los Angeles. The Skyslide is forty-five feet long, approximately 4 feet wide and made entirely with 1-1/4 inches thick glass. Visitors will experience Skyslide’s unparalleled views in a whole new way as they glide from the 70th to the 69th floor of the U.S. Bank Tower.

On June 23, 2016, security guard Guillermo from Jimmy Kimmel Live faced his fear of heights and bravely rode the slide.

OMG !!! I just rode a glass slide in dtla @skyspacela #skyspacela #glassslide #skyspace #TransformYourView
