Prolific filmmaker Pablo Fernández Eyre has created a cinematic side-by-side comparison of the recent Kenzo World perfume ad starring Margaret Qualley with the Fatboy Slim 2010 “Weapon of Choice” music video starring Christopher Walken, both directed by Spike Jonez. Without a single word of commentary, the comparison makes clear that while the choreography is similar, the overall tone is different in terms of music, moves and dress – the Kenzo ad presents as frenetic, loud and slightly manic, while the Fatboy Slim music video has a much cooler, calmer and ethereal feel.
