The final brick was placed atop a 114-foot-tall LEGO obelisk in front of Saint Stephen’s Basilica in Budapest on May 25th, earning the tower the Guinness World Record for “The Tallest Structure Built with Interlocking Plastic Bricks.” The tower was built by LEGO Store Budapest in a four-day process that required over 450,000 LEGO bricks.
