About breaking up the silly putty, I'm thinking as it's a supercooled liquid you could freeze it even further with a CO2 fire extinguisher then hit it really hard with something like a hammer to see if it shatters like glass.

Obviously this is risky as if you don't hit it hard enough to shatter it completely the hammer is going to come flying right back at you, there's two approaches to this. One would be to mount a hammer on a lever and a spring and operate it safely from a distance. Another would be to find someone whose not very bright and get them to do it whilst videoing the proceedings for youtube, which is the preferred approach.

I don’t know why but I wouldn’t mind having that much silly putty!

Am I the only person who is a little freaked out by that much silly putty?

oh and by the way, SP is a viscous fluid, just set it up on a sutface with a hole, and it will trickle down slowly, in effect pouring it into smaller shapes.
