The 2014 Open Hardware Summit will take place September 30th to October 1st, 2014 in Rome, Italy and will be held during Rome’s Innovation Week. The Open Source Hardware Association organizes the annual conference, which features speakers and panels focused on the subject of open source hardware.
The conference is currently accepting proposal submissions via an online form until May 25th.
Speakers include world renowned leaders from industry, academia, and the maker community. Talks cover a wide range of subjects from electronics and mechanics to related fields such as digital fabrication, fashion technology, self-quantification devices, and DIY bio. Workshops focus on, but are not limited to, education, manufacturing, design, business, and law.
