Robert Mondavi & V. Sattui
We took a quick trip up to the Wine Country on Saturday, starting in Sonoma and then traveling over to Napa, were we stopped at the picturesque Robert Mondavi Winery in Oakville which is set against the backdrop of the mountain that separates the Sonoma and Napa Valleys. Next we went up to St. Helena to visit the V. Sattui Winery, which has a wonderful gourmet foods store and the winery is surrounded expansive picnic grounds. It is currently in the middle of harvest season, so at V. Sattui they were busy loading and crushing grapes for this year’s vintage. Here are my photos from Robert Mondavi and V. Sattui.
