Do not bring a quality kite as we are attaching razor blades and nails to the kite and dueling in the skies! We recommend you bring a craptastic plastic kite and some razor blades or whatever weaponry you see fit.

I’m a freelance journalist working on an article series on kite design, building and flying. I’d like to talk to some of you who kite fight. Anyone interested in being interviewed for articles headed for the national periodical market? If so, please contact me via email: shari@nwtimberfallers.com. and we can arrange either a telephone or in person interview. Love to get some printable kite fight photos too. Thanks.

Dear Sirs,
I work at Fort Mason Center in the Marina here in San Francisco, and just happen to be getting off work and walking over to the Marina Green to do some Flying.
When someone told me to look up Laughingsquid.com about the Kite Fights this weekend May 3rd or 4th?
But did not see anything posted, What’s up for this weekend with you folks?
P.S.
Aside from the people learning to Sailboard with their 1.2 Flex Foil Trainers, and a few single line family flyers, Trying to use Crissy Feild, between the Soccer Moms and Dads, and the diverse Collegeate footballers that are always on the feild.
I have not the pleasure of seeing any of you Pro Flyers out here showing off to “Us Sissies” ? (<Them’s Fightin Words!)
I would like to think that all if not most of us FlyFolks are relatively Upward and Freindly as the term may be used loosely.
What say you?
